What a week it has been. We began planning this trip months ago and to see it come and go is wonderfully saddening. It has been a joy to serve along side my students and the students of Hunter Road Baptist Church, but it will be a saddening to leave them all to head home.
We met them a week ago and haven’t been away from them much at all this week. Our days have been filled with enjoyable work, our evenings have been filled with Christ-centered ministry and our nights have been filled with fun and games. It has truly been a joy to be in Cataula, GA doing ministry with you all.
Day five was a blast that started with working around the church and ended with slightly teared filled eyes and many hugs. Hopefully and by God’s good grace we will be able to get together again some time soon to fellowship and encourage one another in Christ.
Thanks to Pastor Brad Parker and his lovely wife Amy for their hard work setting this trip up and making sure we were well taken care of. Thanks to all the families who fed us and made sure that our bodies had the fuel needed to serve Christ and his church. Thanks to all the students who studied and prepared to make our teaching time so special. Thanks to all the extra hands that filled in the edges.
My hope is that God was and is pleased with our service and that young hearts came to understand that God Always Wins. May God recieve glory for the great things He has done.
