The reports state that more than 500 teens were on hand as a Mexico City nightclub was raided by police Friday evening. Reports were that many of the teenagers involved in the celebration were taking part in under age drinking and drug use.
Police entered the night club on that assumption and began apprehending guilty persons. A report says that the nightclub owner took it upon himself to warn the clubbers that the police were on the premises, which caused the swolen crowd to errupt in a panic as hundreds fled for the emergency exit which was blocked by cases of beer.
Latest reports are that nine teenagers died in the incident along with three police officers who were all trampled to death. But, who is to blame for such a tragedy? Selfish teenagers more concerned with staying out of trouble than with trampling their friend to death? Over eager police officers looking to stamp out juvenile crimes? A fearful club owner who can’t abide by the laws of the land when money is on the line?
You make the call…
